I get this question most times from Fidelity Bank customers who wish to incorporate Zelle in their daily banking activities. The truth is, yes, you Fidelity actually uses Zelle and you can use them to complete different banking activities on your Fidelity account. 

 

In this blog post, we’ll look at the different ways you can incorporate both Zelle and Fidelity in your daily banking routines.

How to Use Zelle on your Fidelity Bank account.

Like I said earlier, there are steps you can follow to use Zelle on your Fidelity account. We’ll briefly analyze some of these steps.

Here are the steps to use Zelle on Fidelity:

 

  1. If you want to make use of Zelle on a Fidelity account, you must first of all make sure you already have an account with Fidelity. If for one reason or the other you don’t have an account with them, you shouldn’t hesitate, make sure you open a Fidelity account.
  2. Once you have succeeded in opening a fidelity account, the next step is to Link your bank account to your Fidelity account.
  3. If the Link up is successful, you should be able to have access to the Zelle service through the Fidelity website. Alternatively, you can also download their mobile app on the Google Play store.
  4. If for instance you want to send money from your fidelity account to someone else through Zelle, you should search for the person or business you want to send money to. If the person that you are searching for is enrolled in Zelle, you can send them money right away, but in a situation where they’re not enrolled, you can simply send them an invitation to join Zelle. If you’re not already enrolled, you can do so by following the steps we listed above, Once you’re enrolled, here’s what you need to do:

 

  1. You have to first of all Open the Fidelity app or website.
  2. You should Log in to your account.
  3. Select the  “Accounts” and then “Money Movement.”
  4. You should Click on “Zelle” and then “Receive money.”
  5. Enter the email address or phone number of the person sending you money, some people end up making mistakes and putting the wrong details, make sure you correctly put the right email address or phone number of the right person.

6.Confirm the amount of money you’re expecting to receive.

There are sometimes when you might face challenges using Zelle on your Fidelity account, I’ve personally experienced this on more than one occasion, trust me, it could be really annoying. 

 

With that being said, If you’re having trouble using Zelle on Fidelity, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

 

  1. The first step to take is for you to make sure you’re using the latest version of the Fidelity app, this is because most times, when the app is outdated, it will start misbehaving.

Some of the programs that are expected to run smoothly will start misbehaving, so you should make sure it’s updated.

 

2.Sometimes there may actually be nothing wrong with your fidelity account, all you need to do actually is to try signing out and then signing back in to your Fidelity account, these can troubleshoot any minor issue that might arise.

 

  1. Is your Internet connection properly connected? Try and Check your internet connection to make sure it’s working properly, internet connection might just be the reason your Fidelity account needs troubleshooting.

 

  1. Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies can actually do the magic, you can do this process once in a while.

5.Why not  try using a different browser? Sometimes some apps tend to misbehave while operating on a particular browser. You should try out a different browser and see how it goes.

There are times when you might want to send or receive money on Zelle using Fidelity, there are few things I’ll recommend you do to bypass some of the problems you might encounter.

 

If you’re having trouble sending or receiving money

on Zelle using Fidelity, these are a few things you can check to troubleshoot the issue:

 

1.First, make sure that you have enough money in your account to cover the payment, if you don’t have enough money to cover a particular payment, it will not work.

 

Another thing you need to do is to check that you have the correct email address or phone number for the person you’re trying to send money to, if you do send to the wrong address, it could spell serious problems for you.

 

Also make sure that the person you’re trying to send money to is also using Zelle.
